John Clayton

John’s recruitment career began in 2010, and has involved Associate, Partner and team moves in a variety of jurisdictions. This breadth of experience makes him well placed to assist with international career moves, as well as helping lawyers transition within their local market. John developed Nexus’ relationships with Australia and South Africa-based law firms from scratch, having spent several years focusing on each market. He grew up in Swaziland and has since travelled to South Africa on business, which enables him to provide insight on both a personal and professional level. His work now focuses on the Asia region, specifically leading Nexus’ presence in the key market of Hong Kong. John holds a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Salford.
